New camera (Canon 5D Mark II)

The studio has a new piece of equipment, which I am excited to say has been wonderful. The image quality has by far impressed me. I am so happy to say I am the new owner of a Canon 5D Mark II. I am looking forward to all the amazing work that is going to come from this new piece of equipment, and I am excited to be sharing this with you.

What a great time we had! Energy & spunk were all around.

Each time I have the pleasure of photographing this little guy, he always puts his own spin on the portraits. I laugh each time he poses. He is such a natural, and not shy in front of the camera. Great little man!

This little princess, was just as funny as her brother. I had a great time playing peek a boo. Once she got the hang of it, she was all about it. She also had her little piggy friend that she was carting around with her, and every so often she would just throw it on the ground. We weren’t sure what she was doing, but it gave her pleasure…haha. That is what life is all about.

It was a pleasure as always!

Trick or Treat……

Halloween is all about candy & day later stomach aches. But that is all the fun!

On October 31st we are booking mini sessions. It is a great time to capture your little one in their first year costume, or your veteran tricker treater who loves to get decked out.

Each session is 15 minutes and you will receive an 8×10 custom designed collage, 3 sheets of your favorite pose & your session fee……$130.00 + gst.

A moment to cherish

I had the brillant honour of photographing this family. I have done portraits for the Burnand clan before, but I had the privledge of meeting the imidate family. This is a bitter sweet session, as part of the clan is starting a new chapter. But a fabulous chapter, in their new exciting life in Dubai. I wish you all the best in your new journey in life, and hope to see you all again soon.

All the munchkins wanted to do was roll down the hill and play ring around the rosie. So that is what we did….

Always great times with my nieces!

It was a great weekend with family. I had all my sisters & nieces together. It is always hard getting all four of us in one place, but when we do we all have a brillant time. And we always reminisce about old times.

This visit I was able to photograph my eldest niece. I don’t get to see her as much, as they live the furthest away. She has a gentle soul, as you can see with her teddy.

I decided to take them to Build A Bear, as all of them have never experienced the magic of stuffing their own teddy with love.

I watched them as they each picked out their special bear. After they stuffed them, we went to the station so we could give them a name. And with my surprise they each named their own teddies. Sparkle, Rainbow & Patch. Brillant names!

Cake Smushing (as I like to call it)

I had the most wonderful time during this session. This is one of my families that I have the joy of photographing every year, and sometimes twice a year. Their 3rd munchkin turned 1. She started off going into the cupcake very cautiously, as tho she thought it was going to be taken from her. Once she realized that no one was going to snatch it away, she started in slowly but then dove right in. She ate that cupcake in record time, and those bites were monstrous. Here are just a few of many……

Just last week my sister & her boyfriend came for a visit, and it’s always a pleasure to photograph family. We were able to fit in some time, which is always hard to do when you have such a short time with them. I had a brilliant time & hope to have more shoots with them.
